--- LOT DESCRIPTION ---
An icon of the Italian renaissance, the Villa Capra is an architectural
masterpiece. Perfectly symmetrical on all sides, the Villa features
large archways and windows to let in the cool Tuscan breeze.
Villa Capra is a 3 bedroom and 4 bathroom house ideal for Sims aspiring
to have a taste of the Italian lifestyle. The Villa is based on the
masterpiece of the architect Andrea Palladio. The house is unique
because of the use of arches to link all the rooms, thus creating an
open plan that enables the inside and outside to flow seamlessly.
--- THE EXTERIOR ---
The villa sits atop a high foundation and the main level is accessed through four grand staircases on all sides. Upon landing on the main portico, a colonnade topped with a pediment and flanked by great canine sculptures create an entrance befitting royalty. The most impressive feature of the villa is the dome, making this imposing structure even more magnificent against the simplicity of the natural landscape.
--- FLOOR PLAN ---
Adhering to renaissance principles of symmetry and perfect proportions, the villa boasts an open floor plan defined only by arches. The entire living areas of the house are located only on the single main level. The octagonal great room is the heart of the villa where all major rooms can be accessed. The bedrooms on the other hand are spread out around the rim of the villa providing splendid views of the formal gardens outside.

--- THE INTERIOR ---
Upon entering the house, a small foyer leads to the massive two-story great room. Four fireplaces flank each side of this octagonal room. Numerous paintings hang from the tiled walls and a desk and gaming table provide additional entertainment. Great arches provide access to the adjacent library and dining room.
A massive collection of books leave nothing to be desired even for the most dedicated bookworm, this lavishly appointed library would be a prized possession to anyone. The dining room showcases the family's antique china and is the perfect venue for a grand social soiree. A trio of arches leads both rooms to the large open air balconies.
The kitchen is the epitome of vernacular Mediterranean-Tuscan design. The striking blue color evokes the gorgeous color of the ocean. For many Italian families, the kitchen is the most important room, thus a large center island and breakfast area provide enough space for the whole family.
The master bedroom, the largest in the villa features a canopied double bed. An office space as well as a large sitting area are all for the convenience of the master of the house. The children's bedroom feature two single beds and a light-pastel color scheme. Large arched windows allow both the light and the breeze to flow trough during hot summer days and warm nights.
The guest bedroom features its own double bed and sitting area. The room is bedecked in lavish furniture more than enough to impress even the most difficult guest. All bedrooms come with an en-suite bathroom. Exotic mosaic tiles adorn the walls and floors creating a mesmerizing effect emulating the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean sea.
